Your call may simply have been of a longer duration than you remember it to be.
Or
There are a number of technical reasons why a call may have been recorded with a longer duration.
- The call tracking software may have detected that telephone was not put back on hook properly when the call was finished.
- The Telco line used did not clear down when the call was finished.
- When the telephone was put onto the cradle to end the call, the handset 'bounced' causing the call to be put on hold and not cleared as intended. This is the most common reason for the problem.
